Dunno about worst just such a disappointment. I remember when we was all so happy and creaming over our midfield when he signed. Our record signing ain't he? Says it all. And that free kick today, so poor
Being honest with you I'd not heard of him before he signed...thought he flattered against the scum and has done nothing since....him and hoilet have been massive disappointments in the Barton and swp class..
They soon will learn from the likes of Derry and Hill, that putting in effort and giving it your all is the key to survival.
If they dont know that yet mate they never will. It takes a certain type of character in life, not just football, to front up against all odds and face crap head on. Some people are made for that i.e. Derrys and Bartons etc others prefer to hide but in good times excel. I have the feeling Granero is a good time person which pains me to say as I thought he was the dogs early part of the season
We need players now who are prepared to get hurt for the cause, break a nose, put their head in were the boots and im afraid he and Cisse wont do that.
I saw fight in Nedum today and he actually went for a header with Henderson which could have seen him get hurt and which he had no right to win but he did.
He was better today. We all know he's got talent. I just hope he would pass the ball more often and faster upwards (if there was any movement there). We need someone in the midfield to do that.
For whats it worth my view on Granero is that he is a very talented player, as we all agreed on earlier in the season, but we are totally the wrong club for him (and him the wrong player for us) given our current circumstances.
He's not the sort to dig in and fight, he's not the player for a dog fight at all - he would revel in a side with no pressure on them in La Liga.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Yeah you're right. He's not made for this type of situation.
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0
