We had absolutetly no cohesion as a unit and they were cutting though at will.

We were sitting too deep, had no link up play, no understanding on how to keep the ball

Just lacked basic team tactics. Derry came on and settled the team. No f in chance of coming back to 4-3 so just some pride and some posession and damage limitation, with the slim hope of a fight back.

I believe Cisse/SWP Onahoua - Big BIG problems in the team, I know Diakite and Mbia dont function together but I think they could given a solid unit around them , that si s well led with a decent striker that puts a shift in

OK - Im a new poster because I took offence at a few posters pointing to HR for his 2nd half sub but in response to some very seasoned and well respected posters
1. Shania - We were 3 - nil down in less than half hour so it was hardly possible for HR to see that one coming - he set out with a positive team that he clearly beleived could do some damage. Every game at k/o I m positive too. HR does not have a crystal ball
2. Stainrod - Just dont think he offers anything going foprward. Its great to be defensively sound but offers nothing going forward and attack is the best form of defence - I dont mean to dig him out in the same way SWP and Cisse but if yuop dont have any ambition going forward - whats the point?

Totally agree. Loved it when he doe Sterling in a head to head sprint, sterling is no slouch but onouha was rapid! One of his best games if not the best since hes been here

Neddy started slowly but that's understandable as he's not played much lately. Once he found his legs he was one of the best performers - along with Derry who added more than just a bit of passion.

I hope we don't spend any money. Completely pointless and we should just spend our time getting rid of our senior players on silly money. If it means bringing players in from the youth then so be it. Give harry a decent amount in the summer and let him rebuild from top to bottom

I dont understand why we arnt putting a more balanced, maybe more defensive team out every week. See how the opposition are playing for the 1st half and then change it around a bit after an hour, maybe a more attacking line up after 60 minutes.

Derry should have started and then maybe Diakite on for him say around 60-75 mins.

That´s true. Besides, it could very well be that HR feared Derry would be outpaced if he did give him 90 minutes.
