Oh dear, we don't need a finisher who finishes them from 12 yards out, we already have Cisse for that. We need a striker who can come outside the box, who can run with the ball and go past people.

With the right service he can carry on doing what he does, He's a goal poacher."When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Harry has said the same names appear year after year in the top scorers list in the Prem. He has also said he is only interested in players he knows as its his reputation on the line. All my instincts tell me he will go for someone proven over a bright prospect. With Cisse and Zamora (and Helguson and DJ) I wd have been delighted at the start of the season if Hughes had bought an Austin type striker as the extra lucky dip option. But instead we went for AJ and for a variety of reasons everything fell apart. The odds are stacked so badly against us we can't afford any long shots right now.

Point is Cisse is a proven prem goalscorer when given chances. That's a fact. I personally couldn't give a toss if he wastes tonnes of energy chasing back into his own half or not, he's there to get goals. Austin may be a prospect, and could do welkl, but he's unproven, could flop in the top flight and would cost over the odds so a massive risk if true.
