a lot of fans don't deserve fernandez. either they have v v short memories or they weren't around under some of our previous owners.

I personally respect the man, fair play to him. how we can go from tango and cash to tony fernandes and still be complaining is beyond me....

These plums slating Fernandes dont know a good thing when they've got it.
The guy's enthusiasm is fantastic, we are so lucky to have someone like him running our club.
Yes he has made mistakes but i firmly believe everything he has done has been with the clubs best interests in mind.

no, fernandes keeps opening his gob around transfer window time and all that does is tell other clubs that this fool has and plans to spend more money so other clubs will push up the price some more when we enter bidding.
tony f needs to be more proffesional than how he is currenty acting. do you see any other chairmen coming on tv and acting this way?nsa/cia spy on this..............┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

We have lost so many games because of this. Nothing new there that us supporters didn't already know however I think most pundits looking at the squad pre-season would have said that we were probably a mid table team. I think the key areas have hurt us but we are talking 2 or 3 players that could make a huge difference in my opinion.

Tony Fernandes is right, we do have a good squad of players.
They should have performed better than they have, that they haven't isn't any fault of Tony's.
I just hope we have wised up somewhat this window. Let's keep the ageing has-beens to a bare minimum, and balance it out with young blood.
Strikers, defenders, these are the positions in most need of improvement. We are not in dire need of any more midfielders.

I am more than happy to point out the failings in the current squad (for example without significant January improvement relegation is certain) however it does not tell the whole story especially about gaps. For example I think Liverpool are favourites to win on Sunday but if you stuck Barton/Zamora who played last time then I would fancy QPR. Because those two players would plug some obvious holes in the team. So in fact the gaps make an average squad look like a group of has been prima donna greedy scumbags. Now to get top 6 form which is required is gonna take more than two players, probably 4 or 5 because of the time frame, but even then most of the players will be ones currently at the club.
TLDR; Hughes bought very poorly. But the injuries to the main strikers and lack of quality in CM makes average look like a train wreck.

The closest we've come to a Jim Gregory, in fact, has the potential to oversee the most successful season ever, and fans slate the guy.
Words almost fail me.
