  • OPEN LETTER RE: Jim Magilton

I decided for the good of the club and fans, to write this open letter to Jim, to try and help him win a league game, as I sense that early talks of the next manager are looming... here is what I have writen in rough so far, I will post tomorrow, let me know if you want to add any ideas or suggestions for the poor man.

    Dear Mr Magilton,

I am writing to you on behalf of the QPR fan base, which, in the last 10 years or so have been suffering badly, nothing has ever changed.
We now have, in my opinion, the best opportunity ever to gain promotion back to the premiership and to establish ourselves and expand the club accordingly.
However, after watching a few games under your management I can see a few fundimental problems, which you clearly yourself have not noticed.
The reason why we did well last season was due to the fact that we had a solid defense, suddenly out of the blue, our two best center backs have been dropped (Connolly and Gorkss), only to be replace by two lesser players (like some poor mans punch and judy show). Now whether there is a reason for this or maybe they are unfit I do not know, but clearly, to leave two vital players on the bench is plain ridiculous... Whoever advised you this, ill advised you. Buzsaky is not a winger by any means and is wasted.... Tarrabt is not a striker and Ephraim, our youngest and most talanted of players is dumped from the team altogether.

Unfortunately, you are judged on results in this business, we have had a worse start than last season, and watching players playing out of their position, along with our more talented players left out of the squad will soon spell your doom. If you do not put this right and win the next 3 league games you will be out of a job, simple as that.

I am not suggesting that you drop players like helguson, agyemang as it would be wrong of me, but please get the basics of the squad right, on paper it is a good team, but the players are clearly not playing to their potential, they do not even look like a winning side and look more like a squad of individuals.

Finally, it will not be long before this home crowd will start booing and geering which begins to then drain confidence. In the past I have seen this QPR crowd destroy potentially talanted players like scully, wardly, kiowamya, forbes, graham, grithis, langley etc etc...

I do not want you to get the sack, but I can sense that we are already talking about the next manager so early on in the season, and I think it would be a shame to see you go so soon.
I hope you take my advice in good spirit, as I am sure you will get it right and good luck.

    Yours Faithfully

    Oliver

With a bit of luck he'll read that badly written ramble - then bin it.

            I would.

            You don't speak for me.
#Sorry if you're offended by that... but you wanted feedback.

What is the difference between Angelo Balanta and Helguson?

                      Balanta can score.
