Wouldn't it of been easier to have bought quality from the start?
According to wikipedia Patrick Ageymang cost us £1million, the mirror reported that we spent £500k on Helguson and according to the Ealing gazette we spent £1 million on Pellicori.
Ageymang has to have one of the worst goalscoring records ever for a striker, playing 328 games and scoring 60 goals, which is pathetic for £1million
Helguson cost us £500k and has proved that he is worthless aswell and is not good in the air, or on the ground
Pellicori cost us £1million for an unproven italian striker, i have only seen him once and that didn't exactly fill me with confidence, he is very very slow, and only won one header all game, which was a free header and he gave it to the opposition.
who could we have got for £2.5 million? certainly better than what we had, they say if you buy quality from the start, you will end up paying a lower price in the long term, which is a harsh lesson we will have to learn
