  • No "I" In Team

Anyone else get the impression we have quality in the team, but they are looking for the ultimate goal and NOT playing as a unit. Have a similar team spirit to Burnley and shirley we would take all the beating?

Take Routledge, switches over to the left and it was clear Madge never asked him to

        But there's a 'U' in success.

No, just making the point. Tarrabt is a bit of the same. Tactically with Helguson and Pelicori up front the pre-match team talk would have been to get the ball down the wing and cross it in, they have great ability buit they just wanted to cut in. Only a personal opinion of course.

perhaps they cut in because there is nobody getting on the end of any crosses or they have no faith in the strikers.

They do seem to be trying to score the 'perfect' goal, much like the Gooners were accused of a few years ago. It seems that no-one wants to actually shoot from outside the box. Maybe they just cant kick it that far but I've lost count of the number of times I was thinking shoot, shoot, for F**ks sake SHOOT while they ****ed about playing intricate passes until an oppositoin defender hoofed it away.
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

                2015/2016, average at best.....

                2016/2017, same old, same old....

                2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

I might be wrong in saying this Pete, but when Buzsaky came on Routledge instantly switched to the left - and Buzz onto the right.

I think that was Magiltons decision?

Maybe Magic Jim insisted in training "no crosses".

Yeah Buzz went on at right and Routledge swapped then. Stupid substitution.

We had two target men, at what point did Tarrabt or Routledge get down the wing and cross the ball in? I remeber Routledge doing it once, and that was because it was laid back to him.

Cook would be well suited to this style when he returns. Personally don't midn going back to Tarrabt playing up front, as I think that suits our style of players we have available, with another fast on the floor striker of course.

                          Routledge not a team player?

                          Is he leaving then?

had a feeling this was leading to Tarrabt up front again

if he is i hope they sort it sooner rather than later...pointless him being on the pitch if he wants to go.
