I wouldn't laugh at a player being injured but Connolly and Gorkss are arguably much better than Hall.
Gorkss looked short of confidence when he came on -- hardly surprising really, when Hall is picked in front of him. Let's hope him/Connolly make the place their own now.

he has NOT been solid. Hall looks good on the ball, and gets stuck in with some nice tackles, il admit - but when it comes to the most important things such as positioning, and heading the ball away, he is always second best. I am confident that if we had stuck to our defence of last year, we wouldnt have let all these goals in

No -- Saturday's goal, Stewart was beaten in the air -- Gorkss did his best to get across to help Ramage who had lost his man -- hardly his fault!!
At Plymouth, Hall swung so ineptly at the ball -- casual and careless. It might have gone in off of Gorkss, but he could hardly get out of the way. Hall should have cleared it.
Blackpool's goal -- Borrowdale was turned in the box, and someone else (couldn't quite see who, but not Gorkss) failed to close down Burgess -- Gorkss was covering another Blackpool player who wasn't in the box at that stage.

I've just watched all those goals again on QPR player, several times, as I was beginning to think I'd seen them all wrong or was going mad, but that's the way they all happened.

I suppose he's trying to make his mark with his own ideas -- but if ever the owners NEEDED to interfere and say, "Leave the bloody defence alone! Put Gorkss and Connolly back in the team!", now is that time!

There seems to be a problem with hall on this board and i just cant understand it he's been our best defender this season.

Everyone has been banging on about stewart and gorkss both were at fault saturday for the goal stewart lost his header and gorkss was day dreaming and lost his man yet no mention of it,if this was hall he would be getting a real slating strange.......
