‘I would only refuse offers from the big English clubs, if Milan made me an offer,’ Taarabt told Gazzetta dello Sport. 'My agent is in talks with [Milan vice-president Adriano] Galliani, but it depends on what happens with Robinho and Pastore.' However, in a move that is unlikely to endear the Moroccan to the Milan faithful, he added that he would only be using the Rossoneri as a stepping stone to greater things. 'Milan aren’t going through a glorious period now, and they’re no longer a part of the top clubs. However, if I joined Milan then it would open up the doors for me to great clubs like Real Madrid and Barca. My friend [Kevin Prince] Boateng is also at Milan. When we were at Tottenham he was often in the stands, so I think that I have a chance too.’ http://metro.co.uk/2012/12/24/adel-t...drid-3329087/?
Adel does himself absolutely no favours with our fans and club by continually coming out with these type of quotes.
He puts in one great performance against Fulham and predictably he then starts stirring up all this transfer speculation. He's clearly still immature and being badly advised by agents with their own ulterior motives.
He would, of course, be far better advised to just STFU and focus purely on putting in top performances on a CONSISTENT basis for his CURRENT club - something he has so far failed to achieve in the PL. If he continually allows his own hype to keep going to his head it will ultimately be his own downfall - this is never the case with the truly world class players.
