The only surprise, is that we react so strongly to these comments.

Just before EVERY transfer window we get Adel talking about how his Agent is lining up a move to -
Arsenal, Real Madrid, Man United, Barcelona, Liverpool, PSG, Newcastle, Fiorentina and now AC Milan. you could set your (seasonal) watch by it.

Only PSG turned out to have any truth behind it and that was more due to Tango trying to cash in on him before he sold up.

If he goes, good luck to him, I hope he goes from strength to strength, as long as get upwards of £10m for him, it will allow 'Arry to rebuild.

But I've a hunch, no matter how much or often his Agent tries to justify his %age, he destined to big a Big fish in a little sea for a while longer.

PS. Does anyone know a Premiership footballer who doesn't think he better than he actually is ?

Tarbs is a talent with an agent. Why are people getting agitated? He is no more of a selfish person than any other footballer in the PL. He is the only player most non QPR fans know, and for good reason. He will play in the Champions League one day. The only player we have that will.

Because of the way he feels the need to keep tarting himself around to other clubs after he has only just happily signed a 3 year contract with QPR. That shows huge disrespect and disdain for his employers and fans alike. Other players may think it privately but very few continually come out with this type of contemptuous crap in public.

The Best way Adel could reach his promised land of playing Champions League football or at least for a 'major' club, would be for him to start excelling consistantly, week in, week out for QPR. If he were to score 10 and create another 10 between now and the end of the season, setting up 10 wins in the process. I'd have no problem if he joined any of the Clubs he feels he 'should' be playing at, as long as the price was right. And with 3 years left on his contract next May (signed until 2016) we'd be looking at between £10-15M.
Right now, I don't see him seriously interesting too many Clubs at that level - Malaga or PSG maybe. But for no more than £5-7M (at best) and almost 40% of that goes to Spurs.

Every time he puts ONE good performance he makes this story. Typical Taarabt. Get on with it. We all know he is going nowhere!

thats true but he should know what to say and when to say , he is not a kid anymore, he doesn't have to follow his agents thinking, because agents are just after the cash, they use players as if they were their stocks, as soon us it goes up they wanna sell. he should know to get to a big club need more work and consistency, if he wins us 10 or more games no one will disagree to let him go wherever he wants we would be happy to make him happy.

and here his arguments with Moroccan coach on a Moroccan Radio yesterday! the coach said he has no patriotism because he didnt wanna join the African cup! Adel got angry and said he is more patriot than any one etc..

unfortunately, adel as gifted as he is, he has a mental age of 12, very sad as i had hopes that he was maturing and all but i changed my mind after this...a brief translation of this interview: ADEL is UPSET and very very upset, becauseduring a phone conversation, the new coach told him that he was going to call him back in 20 mns but didn t , and only called him after 48 hours, adel was already offended and didn t want to talk to him and said ( to a sport website) that he will never play for morocco under this current coach, it s a bit of a deja vu, because this is excately what happened with the previous coach (eric gerets)...if there was an award for a primadonna of football (unniversal) our adel would win it year after year...warnock bult team around him in the championship and it worked, and i dont think harry will risk building a team for the premier league around this physically gifted, mentally challenged creature.

A bit over the top, in my opinion. Loathe him or like him, he´s a very intelligent fotballer.

Sell him for 20 million and get a striker with the passion for the club and the fight we have on our hands. He suits a club where it is all about step overs and nutmegs, technical and flashy...not much good when the rest of the team lose the ball as soon as he passes it, after beating 4 men.

The stuff he does works sometimes. We need proper consistency and someone who can slot goals in week in week out.

He is most definently not an intelligent footballer, he continually makes the wrong decision. He is either holding on to the ball too long or releasing it too early. Shooting when he should pass and passing when he should shoot. Skillful yes but wow fully short in other areas hence his one good game in twenty at Prem level.
