Love you to bits Pat ..... Thanks for everything you've done for QPR fans over the best part of three decades. It's a very time consuming, and unpaid job ... it just shows how much love Pat has for The R's.
Hard job for the next person to follow in Pat's footsteps

                PAT HARRISON RETIRES
Posted on: Thu 27 Aug 2009

The QPR Official Supporters Club is sad to announce the retirement of their Chairperson, Pat Harrison.

Pat has been part of the OSC Committee for over 20 years and Chairperson since the sudden death of Chairman Ron Bannister in 2007.

In Pat's time on the Committee, she has seen many changes both within the OSC and the Club, whilst making many good friends and supporting many deserving causes.

Pat's hard work and commitment to the OSC has helped raise thousands of pounds for local and national charities, as well as assisting in the organisation of Player of the Year events and supporter travel to away games.

Pat's raffles have become the thing of legend and no OSC event will seem complete without Pat and Tom standing duty behind the 'Raffle Box.'

Pat will still be a familiar face at QPR fixtures but will dedicating her spare time to Tom and her family.

QPR Deputy MD, Ali Russell, commented: "We are very sad to see Pat retire from her position on the OSC.

"She has been a credit to herself and the Football Club for over 20 years and she leaves with our very best wishes for the future.

"I'm sure her and Tom will still play their part in supporting the Official Supporters Club at the many functions they hold, and we will welcome her back to Loftus Road with open arms."

The Official Supporters Club, as well as the entire Football Club, would like to thank Pat for her friendship, time and dedication.

Never seen or met her, but 20 years tells something. All the best to her.
