well as yet another emotion packed year fades like the last flickering life of a candle its time to reflect on the highs and lows of supporting our fantastic little club!!.....january began with most of us accepting a relegation dogfight was looming as neil warnocks side/squad were beginning to show signs of struggling to find a way to win games when in a position to do so......the fa cup game at stadium mk and close on 8500 loyal r's fans subjected to one of the most insulting performances by team and management i can ever remember (supporting us for over 40 years there has been plenty)!!!....warnock went shortly after but the appointment of mark hughes hardly filled most with excitement but more apprehension at such an 'ambitious man' at the helm....surrendering meekly to the s cum in the 4th round and woeful losses to foolem/wolves really had alarm bells ringing yet we 'rejoiced' at the deadline signings of cisse and zamora( surely these international quality forwards would fire us to easy safety)....cisse began at his new club on fire as he has done at his previous clubs but lack of discipline from him and new signing diakite cost us valuable points when in winning postions....joey barton continued his love/hate relationship with fans and the morrocan magician flattered to deceive!.....a memorable final 15 minutes on a crisps winters night against liverpool was the beginning of some fantastic home wins against the odds in our unlikely bid for survival.....yet marks hughes inept management skills saw us struggle to get any points away and the seeds of his disasterous reign were sown.....................to be continued!!

as the spring sunshine signaled the coming of the end of the season fantastic home wins over london rivals spurs and arsenal kept us in touching distance of safety but gutless and uninspiring away performances at west brom/sunnerland/bolton/chelsea kept us in the mire as hughes continued his hapless management style with no direction/tactical nous or adventure in trying to win away from home.....so to the final two games of the season and two wins to secure survival seemingly impossible and against the odds...........loftus rd boomed in support of the team against stoke yet as bolton appeared set for a home win over west brom and our confirmed relegation after one disjointed season somehow the gods contrived to deny bolton and cisse poked home a winner as fortunate as it was deserved and sent 16000 rangers fans delirious!!.............that final sunny early may sunday in manchester would become football folklore as we someone snatched defeat from the face of unlikely victory but once again the gods of fortune contrived to deny bolton and secure our almost unbelievable survival.....oppossing fans danced n hugged the likes ive never witnessed before and the inept mark hughes (the luckiest manager of all time) nationally claimed 'not under my tenure'!!!...........but in all fairness we claimed the luckiest of survivals but perhaps we just about deserved 'our little moment of glory'!!you know nothing john snow!!!!

as the euthoria of our premiership status set in over the memorable sporting summer mark hughes' pia joorabchians dubius signings led many fans to become over expectant and suddenly unrealistic thoughts of europa league finishes were replacing the fact the squad was still very limited in premiership terms.......the opening day demolishing at the hands of swansea quickly eroded those deluded ideas!!..as the games arrived...two/three/four/five/six...no wins and suddenly the stark reality that hughes n co simply were not good enough at this level and were week after hapless week found wanting until his,not one game too soon demise came.........then harry arrived!!!you know nothing john snow!!!!

harry had an immediate effect in that we were suddenly more organised and difficult too beat yet the reality is that its more than likely we will suffer second season relegation come may unless he weaves his magic wand in january as too many players dont deserve to wear our famous hoops !!
lastly i want to remember the fellow fans we lost as there were too many taken from us it seemed in 2012....bennyboys and fawns and if i havent named them all please forgive me....qpr legends alan macdonald and dave sexton too....rip as you will all be sorely missed but never forgotten.......lets hope 2013 brings us better fortunes both on and off the field as for me being a qpr fan is the best feeling in the world on a sporting level....i wish all of you and your families the very best wishes and will raise a glass to you all.....god bless and merry christmas.....................factamondo!you know nothing john snow!!!!
