  • How did Granero go from hero to zero?

I remember a few months ago saying on here that Granero is a good player, but not great. And I got shot down, people were saying he is the best player at the club, that he comes from Real Madrid, and I remember even starting a thread saying Tarbs the best we have, and people arguing that Tarbs should not even be playing and Granero should.

Now those very same people are saying Granero is rubbish and should not even be starting.

This is the kind of fans we have at QPR, they can only see the world in black and white (or should that be blue and white).

To me, Granero is a good player, he was a good player a few months ago (but not a great player), and he is a good player who is a bit out of form today (but not a rubbish player).

you ought to get out more if you remember threads and posters from a few months ago.

Because he Is having bad form At the mo nd some of our fans are quick to just jump on a players back when that happens instead of sticking with em. Always the way. He could be the best thing since sliced bread again in a few weeks - some fans very fickle.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Maybe I just have a good memory. And maybe you ought to go out a little more if you have to make such comments

Yes, but that does annoy me. I still think him, Faurlin and Tarbs are the way forward, and fans should be getting behind him, because if we need to stay up, we'll need him.

I havent seen too much of him i'll be honest but he impressed me against Chelsea. He looked composed on the ball and had that bit of class about him.

I have watched a lot of our games either online or on the tele but you dont see the game as well as being there but for me he stood out at WBA as well.

I certanly wouldnt say he is s h1t

I think he realises that it ain't as good here in a relegation scrap in the cold as it is back home! And the women here are so much uglier too.

Of course he's a good player. He wouldn't have played for Real Madrid if he was a poor player. Some players need time to adapt, or they simply don't suit a teams style of play. Just look at Fernando Torres. Everyone knows he's a great player, but he doesn't suit Chelsea's style of play

He is a good player. My gripe is that he doesnt seem bothered and doesnt put enough effort in.

Agreed it actually did all go wrong for him when he got his hair cut. Before that he was one of few who looked really good.

Could be he is a victim of circumstances(chaos). Who knows? (Which goes for many of our players actually.) But again, Regarding Granero, it could also be that he is far too easy to outmuscle and close down..He could have got away with it if he was faster, but obviously he isnīt.
Anyway, I way love him to prove me wrong.

He's got the talent. I wonder if he's just been demoralized with what's he's seen around him. Add to that, that he's being villified for this wage makes it tougher for him mentally get his head committed to the team. **** on him all you want but I think he's one of the better candidates to help this team get back to form if Harry supports him in letting him know he's part of the rebuild. I guess we'll know soon enough next month who is or is not on the bus. From there, let's get down to business and get off the bitching of salary. what's done is done and I hope Harry isn't going to constantly drag the " It's not my fault the team is ****" comments in the new year.

We were better yesterday when Granero was on the pitch. First half kept the ball reasonably well and limited them to only minimal chances. Second half, particularly after he was substituted (56min) we never kept the ball for more than a couple of passes and their chances increased.
