Its a shame if he goes but I can understand his decision to go - just hope they get knocked out early !

We'll definitely miss him but we have a couple of players who could step in to that free role/attacking midfielder - personally would love to see Granero take it on

I dnt think the ACN is a big deal after all as Taarabt will be missing only one game (westham game) if morocco got knocked out at group stage. and maximum 4 games. because Morocco will play first game on the 19th of January and the Final is on the 10th of February. in that period we play westaham, mancity , swansea and norwich. some are winnable I think without Adel?

      group stage :

      19 January 2013
      21:00
Angola Match 2 Morocco Soccer City, Johannesburg

      23 January 2013
      20:00
Morocco Match 10 Cape Verde Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban

      27 January 2013
      19:00
Morocco Match 17 South Africa Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban

He will probably leave at the beginning of Jan (after the FA Cup) as they need time before the first match

many players travel by themselves if they stayed longer with the club. they usualy come 3 or 2 days before the competition.

Morocco are unlikely to go out in the group stages thougb with Angola and Cape Verde in the group....The form book would have them lose to Ghana or Mali in the quarter finals on the 2nd Feb which is the same day that we play Norwich....If they do fail at the group stage, its unlikely he'll play against South Africa on 27th Jan and again for us against Man City 2 days later. Still, if he only misses 3 games its not too bad.

Best of luck to Adel and Morocco. Players should play for their country when they get the opportunity. We will miss him but we knew the deal when we signed him!
