Yes we'll miss him as a very good and direct player, who, when it's working, is potentially lethal, but that's not always the case. Also, we have Granero who can play that role and i think would actually link in the runners far better than Adel does, so although different, may open teams up better.
We also have other options. The key point is we were a losing side without momentum, or high morale and weighed down by this winless tag and as a result players were underperforming. That's all changed now and i think a lot of them will start to perform much better. I think Granero in particular will relish playing in a more positive side.
So back on Adel, loss yes, end of the world certianly not. The ACN is a farce the way it wrecks seasons, however everyone knows about it when they sign these players so can't really moan.

True though innit, if you asked someone where they are going on holiday next year and they said "Africa" and you go "Oh nice whereabouts Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania?" and then they give "Morocco" I'd be telling them to f*ck right off. Morrocco is basically Spain.

Can't blame the guy, it's his country. We knew when we signed him he would be heading off to these tournaments in Africa during the season. Not exactly a surprise! Requires others to step up. The one who could benefit the most is Hoilett. He played in the 'hole' at Spurs and looked very good.First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

im sure they let him leave the competition early last year?? if only hed of chosen france ey. its a shame the ACN isnt going to have such an impact on other competitiors in our mini league
newcastle could have a quite depleted side through injury and the ACN
Mehdi Abeid - Algeria
Cheick Tioté - Ivory Coast
Shola Ameobi - Nigeria
Sadly senegal didnt qualify otherwise theyd be without cisse and ba
where as fulham only lose
Mahamadou Diarra - Mali
Villa lose
Karim El Ahmadi - morocco
Saints
Emmanuel Mayuka - zambia
Reading
Jimmy Kébé - mali
Wigan
not a sausage
Sunderland
not a sausage
out of our mini league only us (2 players max) and newcastle will suffer, but given newcastles uefa commitments, acn participants and burgeoning physios table it would be mad to suggest that they can go into a spin

Think it's important that QPR fans don't get on his back about this. He has said how hard a decision it has been, but no one can blame him for wanting to help his country.

When Adel plays Harry will build the team around him.
If Adel goes Harry will change the system and formation accordingly. He gets the best out of players, plays them in their best positions and always to their strengths - we'll be fine because other players will come more to the fore. He'll get into the heads of the likes of Granero, Hoillet, Diakite, Dyer, Cisse, Fabio, SWP etc....watch this space.
