I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Remember in the summer when LU staff demanded extra pay because of having to work late during the Olympics. Don't recall the doctors and nurses asking for more pay when they suddenly had a bit more to do for 3-4 weeks in the summer.
I think I read somewhere the other day that tube drivers are now on 50k a year plus numerous weeks holiday, free travel for themselves which is fair enough plus free travel for their families, discount on the trains and no doubt a good pension at the end of the day! But yet so many tube lines rarely work on the weekends and there are forever delays during the week!First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

- 43 days annual leave
- 2/3rds final salary pension
- Lump sum payment when pension is drawn
- Free tube and network rail travel for life
- Early retirement due to decrease in life expentancy for working in the dark
- 2 grand given to them for working during the Olympics (ie. blackmail payment for not disrupting it)
There is a reason that tube drivers don't go elsewhere if they think their job is so bad like those of us in the real world have to. It's because they won't get anything near that anywhere else nor be able to hold the capital to ransom every year to get what they want.Last edited by wicksta; 17-12-2012, 10:45 PM.
