This is utter drivel. Chamakh is an utter failure in the PL. There is a reason he doesn't get many games. When he does play he is lazy, no movement and really not sharp at all. He did not save anyones season he can barely score a goal and offers the team little. Every Arsenal fan I knows would pay for him to fly home.

Having said that I don't want Harry to buy too many older players.

Doudou didnt say since his time at Arsenal, he said in the last 18 months - which is correct, you're including the 7 goals he got in the 2010-11 season. He scored 1 PL goal all last season and hasnt scored any this year. Hes pony.

He definitely hasn't scored 14 Premiership goals in all his time at Arsenal. Plus I'd imagine DouDou_87's stats are about his last 18 months at the club.

two points surely being overlooked in this thread:

1) if Anelka is negotiating to cancel his contract and does so before Jan, then surely he becomes a free agent who we wd be free to sign immediately, no? or wd he still not be allowed into our 25 man squad until Jan?

2) all those talking about crouch overlook ric's point which is that the board are clearly not going to be lashing out big transfer fees in Jan - and yes, 5m for a club like ours is still a big fee.

Chamakh - looks total dross every time I've seen him.
