No booking for him but one for Taarabt after celebrating his opener in a similar way that many players do week in week out. I can just about understand the bookings for taking their shirts off and certainly for celebrating in front of opposing fans, but not what Taarabt did.

Booked for celebrating albeit with a few hugs from fans is something that needs serious reviewing. Sidwell was finally booked yesterday after 5 fouls in a row! Made another after that should and could easily of been a yellow leading to a red.

Sidwel had a thankless task marking Adel in that form.

Got a yellow eventually I think but shouldve gone because th tackle he did in the middle of their half when he wrapped his legs around Taarabts trailing leg from behind was shocking and a yellow minimum all day long, yet the ref gave nothing! Joke.

How Sidwell didn't get himself sent off, I don't know.
He did just about everything he could to get sent off, but for some inexplicable reason, the ref wasn't having it!!!!
As for Tarbs' booking, well.....words fail me. The only yellow card we had, and it was for Tarbs celebrating his goal, with his fans, a real puzzler that's hard to make sense of.
