    I believe in a challenge!

I'm basing that on what I think is possible (as opposed to likely) and the thought that we are still trying to save ourselves. Once we have given up hope then it doesn't matter.

To Geoffrey Boycott: The question was "what would you take from the next three games" and my answer is "6 points". If we don't get 6 points, I won't do anything, I'll just be a bit disappointed and think we have taken another big step towards the drop.

This no win in the first 16 matches etc is a bloody albatross around our neck, We've gotta get rid of it. A win against Fulham is therefore non-negotiable, but the other games have then to take care of themsleves. if we can win three of the next five games (three of which are at home) then its game on.... A bloody big if, I know...... But last year we won only one game in nineteen between December and March (thanks Hughes.....) and our home from from Liverpool (and Bolton's woefulness) kept us up. Therefore we need to be in nearer contention by the end of these next five games. What happens against Fulham, WBA and Liverpool (h) and Newcastle and Chelsea (w) will decide our fate. Three wins minimum are what we need.......
