The biggest thing in our favour is the fact that football games are not played on paper. We can do it and all the while it's possible we have to support and believe
Not sure we have been that unlucky 2b honest. Wigan had more than enough chances 2 win for instance. We r where we deserve 2b so far because we r, by some distance, the softest touches in the league even if harry has toughened us up a bit.
QPR are the first top-flight team since Sheffield United in 1990-91 to fail to win any of their opening 16 games. The Blades won their 17th at home to Nottingham Forest 3-2 and went on to finish 13th in the table
Wouldn't this have been with more teams in the league as well?
This finish would have been one place from a top half finish!
Yes, more games = bigger chance to dig yourself out of trouble. Maths was in their favour.
this was my 1st thought on reading this thread too.
I still think QPR can stay up, but it gets more and more difficult to believe as each game passes by without a win.
The 3 games under Redknapp could and perhaps should have been wins, but they ended in draws and it is getting harder and harder to see where the ins will come from.
I still think QR's best hope is to start attacking teams from the off and with Cisse in the starting line up with proper attacking support from the likes of Mackie, Taarabt, Hoilett and even SWP (surely he must get his 1st league goal for QPR soon).
I have a feeling that 8 wins and 7 more draws from 22 games might just about be enough. but having typed that out it looks unlikely to happen!
