A knowledgable West ham fan told me that Green was always worth eight points to them every season......... I'd like to see him get a run in the team, I have to say.

Yep, West Ham fans loved him and to be fair some of the saves he made against Sunderland & Wigan have already gained us points
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Agreed, I'd heard Rob say previously that Hughes hadn't talked to him about signing Julio .........

Can you imagine watching Sky Sports News seeing your job go up in smoke AND then being being expected to be in the right frame of mind to play

What a complete tool Hughes is, everytime a manager gets sacked we should all send the chairman a copy of that article to scupper his chances of getting another job in football ......................... SPANNER !
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

MH brought Cesar in because Green made to many **** ups, I am sure he would not have brought in Cesar if Green was doing the business, he was awful in friendlies to many mistakes and he carried that form into the start of the season that article is just sour grapes, he will screw up again no confidence in the man, he is ok when the ball is hit straight at him either side of him is a goal, get rid of him in January

Tbh mate I dont think whether or not Green is good enough is the point here - the club told Green the Cesar deal was just paper talk, yet they were had the wheels in motion in signing him behind his back whilst saying this. Blatent lying to the man, pathetic from the club IMO.

Ill stick my neck out here and say I think I have more faith in Green than I do Cesar.

Each to their own - as I say, going on what Ive seen recently I think Id pick Green over Cesar even when Cesars back fit.

Hughes' man management skills sound very impressive.

Mate of mine spoke to Mackie last week and reckons Mackie told him Hughes would tell players they were dropped by text and not bother talking to em face to face and explaining why. Reckons the players felt they couldnt approach him.

I know 3 Hammers fans that say he always performed at a consistent high level for them, and they wanted to keep him
