No of course we werent. But how many of us really knew that much about them? We just went along with it because they came with big reputations from big clubs. So we didnt complain but its not like we were singing from the rooftops either.

Swansea spent peanuts on Michu and he's scored the same amount of goals as the whole QPR team this season.......

Agreed. Now a few months later; I would gladly have Mclean from Sunderland over Granero and Diakite anyday! But that´s me.

If we realy wants to have the old QPR back, the board should invest heavily on the acedamy. They must also put in a policy to buy the best of the lower divisions as we used to do in our best years in the Premier during the eighties and nighties. Big names are not good for QPR....they think they are bigger then the club, and that's a big problem. If we have money to spend, than its to ensure that the good players we devolope, will stay with us for the longest possible period. Believe me.

That IMO is why Granero is under performing, I don't think he is suited to the Premier League at all. There is no doubt that he is a great player with bags of talent but he needs lots of time on the ball to do what he does best and he doesn't get that in the Premier League.

I wouldn't be too against selling him in January to some Spanish team and spending the money on a decent CB or goalscorer.

Granero only needs time on the ball because there is so little movement in front of him.

The one time Cisse was in position on the last defender's shoulder, Granero put him through instantly (the chance where Cisse's heavy touch allowed the defender to put it out for a corner)

I see your point and i agree up to a point. The fault i think lies with Fernandes then for throwing money at these mercenaries in the first place then. He seems to have put his complete trust in Hughes and taken a huge gamble on players that were mostly on free transfers. He agreed to pay them fortunes in wages and now we are where we are. Buck stops with Fernandes. Their is an estimated £75 million per club up for grabs next season if we stay up...Spend £30 million if we are within touching distance of safety in January might be a wise investment.

Ok so I appreciate them pumping the money in, and trying to do whats best for our club...But I lay the blame for this mess squarely with them aswell as Hughes...

Nine games in they must have seen it wasnt working. But they chose to wait 3 more. This has left Harry trying to bond a team in 2 weeks and has pretty much left us in an impossible situation.

I have faith we might do it still but I seriously doubt it...

Nice to see someone in support of the hire and fire policy of the previous regime....:(

Its not good enough that under Fernandes watch we are worse than when he took over. To date he has failed as a chairman.
