Agreed, I came to the realisation that football is a luxury these days, certainly not life and death. I support the R's no matter what even if I dont go much, cerainly wouldn't let it make me ill. Worse things happen in life eh!

This. Seeing such things as that little bit on SSN the other day about that little spurs fan Callum puts thing in perspective.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

KickOff stats have Wigan as 67% likely to win tomorrow. I can't call it other than one team will win 2-1. A draw isn't good enough for either. Wigan have been leaking a couple of goals a game at home of late but we look unlikely to score twice in a match, something that is crippling us. The draws against Sunderland and Villa were damaging, I don't think we should kid ourselves about this. As a pragmatist I look back on the performance against both of those teams and we should have won, Sunderland more so than Villa. Sunderland we appallingly bad and ripe for the picking. A win tomorrow is imperative. I don't care how we will just so long as it gets the monkey off the players back and instils a sense of hope and unburdens the squad.

At the end of the day we should've beated teams with far better players such as Spurs / Everton, have lost to teams with worse such as Southampton.... The point is it's irrelevant who plays, we just need to concentrate on our job and beat whoever we come up against.

When Fernandes and Hughes bought in players who had won the Champions League and domestic leagues in their career was is it really much of a surprise to see these players not performing with the same desire? When you've reached the pinnacle that hunger and desire to succeed will be sorely tested when you're scrapping it at the foot of the table. Djibril Cisse is the exception to the rule, he's renowned for his capricious attitude.
