How many points did we have by the 1st January LAST SEASON! -

We went around 2Months without a win/Or at least struggled to get points from around October till the new year maybe even the end of Jan... We hit a huge stumbling block!!

My point being, if we around that point target by the new year, we have every right to stay up!!

We even struggled to get going when Hughes came in - Losing winnable games (Norwich, Wolves and Fulham)

18 Points rings a bell...

If we can get near the same points tally, we stand half a chance. Not just because its key to win games etc but its key to get a run of game going!!

It looks like 17 points by the end of last year in answer to the OP. We then continued to do badly for a few months before winning those last 5 home games.
If we can get a win in the next two we have a chance.

LOL - How is this pressure, its totally the opposite!!

Im totally against negativity etc, its more off reality and comparison to make us feel better about our chances. - But I know its all about one game at a time etc...

For you information - on 01.01.2012!!

WE STILL ONLY HAD - 17 POINTS!!! - Incredible!!

Wigan had 15 and stayed up and finished very strongly in a fairly decent position.

My point being, if we can get to around this or as close to it, we stand a very good chance.

Further more by 01.02.2012 - Wigan still only had 15 points and we only had 21!!

Incredible stats and comparison. I seriously believe if we can get a good return by the end of December then we could help ourselves majorly
