It annoys me that everyone moans that we lose then say 'atleast ramage claps the fans'. Does that make it alright that he put more balls into the stand then to our players yesterday?

He can defend well but if we are looking to be in the top 6 thats not good enough.

In league 2 and maybe 1 you would be happy for your defenders to just defend and clear long balls upfield, but we are a Championship side with asperations of getting promoted.

He needs to offer more to the team then just defending and clapping.

Maybe we can sign up a load of seals to clap at the end if thats what you look forward to every Saturday?
Mate, that wasn't aimed at you. I'm saying that Ramage gets way more stick than he deserves in general. I personally feel he is good enough to be at a team with top 6 aspirations. Agreed, not the best distributor of the ball, but far from the worst. This season, albeit early days, Ramage has been brilliant.

The aknowledgement is just a bonus and in fairness something that should be expected from every player.

the way we are playing atm.. wouldnt you say its quite similar?

abit of loyalty to the people who pay week in week out during a recession to follow rangers is a great gesture.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
        Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

          Fair enough.

But you say Ramage has been excellent?

I must have been to different games then. Even his goal was just a bad cross.

I think he is a good defender but i dont think he is good enough to play if we are looking for promotion. I would have Connolly right back with Gorkss and Stewart in the middle.

Stop it with this recession talk.

If Helguson clapped at the end would you excuse all his misses? Because that seems to be what is done with Ramage

I think that's a little unfair mate as that goal was the only bad ball he put into the box that day. He looked completely different. Forest was a bad game for him as he didn't get forward to support Routledge enough, but he's definately improving for me. I still don't feel we've seen the best of him yet and can see him becoming quite important for us.

i dont mind helguson its clear he has no confidence, but he did more than pellicori.. as for ramage did he upset you somehow? hardly our worst player but probably on last seasons form an easy scapegoat?

i mean yesterday he had a decent game.. every player including our NEW signing faurlin gave the ball away..

That's a hugely injust comparisson to make. Ramage give his all an does the job he's paid to do...defend!!!

Heider doesn't do what he's paid to do and doesn't put half the effort into trying. Before HH gets any praise from me, I will need to see him try and be near the ball when it goes into the box and also try to take some of his chances by netting a higher average than one in every 10 attempts.
