Peter Ramage

I know many people dislike Peter Ramage and constantly boo him or moan about him. But after the final whistle yesterday he was the only QPR player to stay on the pitch and applaud the fans and face the music, the rest of them couldnt of cared less.

I know Peter Ramage hadnt turned out aswell as we had hoped for, but its fair to say he actually cares about the fans and the club and gives 100% performances and always wants to be involved with play, what more could you ask from a player?

So whilst you may like your Helgusons and your Tarrabts, Peter Ramage is the perfect example of players we need. Not someone who just turns up for the paychecks but someone who wants to win and give something to the fans.

Top fella.Has a chat with the fans and always applauds us at the end of a game.Always gives 100% effort as well.

Not the greatest right back we have ever had,but commitment wise,one of the best you will find in our current squad.

##### him off all the time, i finally lost my rag yesterday and had a bite back, one thing i did say was "you allways have a go about ramage dont ya, he's improved but still even if he has a good game but does one dodgy pass you berate him further"...

His plain negative and simple reply was "well when he only has a good game 1 out of 46 what do you expect".... It shut me up because the negativity cut through my brain like a stroke. I just couldnt be arsed after that....

Some people are set in their opinions mate.Never gonna change them.People like that are nothing to me.

I am open minded regarding players.Over the years many players i initially thought were poor surprised me alot.

He might be a nice guy and 'care' about the fans but that doesnt make up for his woefull control and passing.

For someone who plays football as a fulltime job surely they should be able to control the ball and pass to a member of the same team?

i have to agree.this canonisation of someone who claps the fans is typical of our fans.would anyone on here like to own up to voting for stewart as player of last season???

Ramage is a decent defender and a top professional. Never gonna be a world beater but doesn't deserve the stick he gets.

Im not giving him stick, just telling the truth.

It annoys me that everyone moans that we lose then say 'atleast ramage claps the fans'. Does that make it alright that he put more balls into the stand then to our players yesterday?

He can defend well but if we are looking to be in the top 6 thats not good enough.

In league 2 and maybe 1 you would be happy for your defenders to just defend and clear long balls upfield, but we are a Championship side with asperations of getting promoted.

He needs to offer more to the team then just defending and clapping.

Maybe we can sign up a load of seals to clap at the end if thats what you look forward to every Saturday?
