    that so many insist on

What is he going to be like then?

Kevin Phillips type, old head sees the opportunities, gets in the right place at the right time?

Adebola type, big lump, no speed, plays with his back to the goal, holding the ball laying it off for midfielders running on?

Jason Roberts type, strong but mobile, looks for the ball over the top, bit like Aggy actually?

Mifsud type, Phillips variant but very quick?

Beckford type, like Roberts but more likely to get sent off?

Wellbeck type, mobile but a thinking type player with good touch and vision?

But I suppose more important than anything else how are they going to fit in with our current squad and style of play and get 20 goals a season?

We just need someone who is going to stick the ball into the back of the net. It's as simple as that.

Yeah but how is he going to do that?

Big lump we just boot it to in the air?

Tippy tappy and he sneaks in?

Lob it over the top for a speed merchant?

We need to stick to the original plan of playing the ball on the ground and good attacking passing. just, because we did not win any of the first 4 games, no need to go with hooth ball.

I'd go for a striker with pace and can find the back of the net. Other clubs want the same player, but hopefully next 48 hours we get it done.

Yeah, I mean ideally we want someone who is going to fit into our style of play, so perhaps we should spend money on a pacey, skilful striker rather than a target man, for instance. To be honest, as long as they're going to score goals, I'm happy.

With a midfield like ours, if we had a pacey forward we could easily play in throughballs for the forward to latch on to, and if he is good in the air then sometimes play it out to the wings for him to run onto in the box.

Basically someone who wants to constantly be involved in play and has good positioning, will attempt to win the ball when lost and uses his voice to get the ball where he wants it.

A striker that is fast, can shoot, and has the abilitie to lose his marker, good in the air, dont have to be tall, and has some brains.
                They seek him here.................

Wellbeck started getting ****y once he started to break through into the first team which is why Sir Alex put him back in the reserves to knock him off his high horse so his attitude might be all wrong

Mickael Mifsud could be the fox in the box we need. But he must feel motivated to play for us.

He wouldn't be bad, and webber used to run rings around us in his watford days, maybe Webber/Mifsud and smith up front, all for £1.8 million?
