I take rumors with a sack of salt but I said it before - Christopher Samba playing like he did in the EPL would be awesome and Harry would love to sign him I am sure.

Also I know all the talk has been of Dawson but Samba is as good if not better.

Plus getting Dawson probably means getting messed about by Spurs until deadline day and still missing out.

January is a time for action. Leave the ****ing about until the summer.

I'd have samba over Dawson any day of the week . No contest IMO

On £90,000 a week at Anzhi. What's a hefty pay cut to fit in with our structure, £40-50,000?

Can't see it mate although would love it. Was my number 1 want the last 2 years.

I reckon if it happens it will be a loan and then if we stay up then they would pay him £60-70k,remember next years TV deals banks min £125m

Think he's been the blindingly obvious top of every R's wishlist since that Blackburn at home early last season

We might have half a chance if he could renew that partnership with Nelsen

All he has to do is jump in both boxes, shout at his team mates, tackle and kill opponents.

Turning circles are an optional extra.

Hope you're right Matty. Samba is a beast for sure and would transform our team. The fact he and Nelsen know eachother's games inside out also means he could hit the ground running.

Much prefer him to Dawson also.
