zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzOriginally posted by vblockranger View Postso its best not to mention my opinion on Park in case it upsets a Korean fan? should we all just avoid mentioning how poor he has been ? why? because it antagonizes them? I like Joey Barton, like the way he plays with aggression and heart and spirit. Now can everyone stop having a go at him cos it antagonizes me.......that be ok then? :-)

Actually, in Africa, it is a term of disrespect more about behaviour, not race, used against Blacks from America or outside Africa.Originally posted by NortholtRanger View PostThe N word is a universal term that is racist in all cultures, everyone knows that and there is no denying that. I find it disgraceful that you're even comparing the two words if I am honest. A word that is linked to slavery against one that has been used to describe the performance of a player.

Could be wrong but don't think a gardening tool was the impetus for the word in regards to derivation. thought it had to do with a spade in a deck of cardsOriginally posted by swivvler View PostTo call a spade a spade
It is evident that the word spade refers to the instrument used to move earth, a very common tool.
It may originate from etnicity, but it aint meant that way, and few people understand its origin!
However it is part of our language, "i dig the garden with a spade."
No i havent got a black bloke helping me!
ITS A SPADE!
AND THIS TOPIC IS DOG****E!
Whatever that means!!!
“Hating people because of their color is wrong. And it doesn't matter which color does the hating. It's just plain wrong.”

Wow!!! What a trite statement. I do believe the English helped bring slavery to the new world.Originally posted by NortholtRanger View PostIf many Koreans are coming onto this forum and already prejudging us because of experiences with Americans then I think they should leave before they even post. We are nothing like the majority of Americans.

London Pride has been handed down to us.
London Pride is a flower that's free.
London Pride means our own dear town to us,
And our pride it for ever will be.

not a fan of ur work but seems to me that the basis of ur hostility may be the temporary status of the Korean fan w/ regards to QPR. I empathize w/ u in that regard. It should irk every fan if he/she is one to have to deal with that kind of nonsense but my feeling is this: Get as much revenue from them as we can and hope it helps to improve the club. Other than that why waste ur time beating a dead horse.Originally posted by NortholtRanger View PostThere is only ill will (if you can call it that) from those that are questioning whether the commitment is long term...
