Thanks to some here, I have moved on with respect to this issue and the angst against Park. If I were vblock, who knows, I may feel the same way given his circumstances. We are all human beings and it is the same hurt--we give what we have gotten. The world needs more compassion, more forgiveness.

I guess then when people abuse Joey Barton, they can be classed as anti-scouse?
Actually I think most on here are anti-scouse.
How do you guys live with youselves?
On a serious note, Seoul, you come across as a level headed well educated person, so I am hoping you was only joking about consulting your attorney over poor ole Vblock :pleasantsuprise:Minds Are Like Parachutes.

Actually, when I started this thread it was meant to try bridging the cultural gap between English and Korean members, specifically regarding the main subject of controversy (as I perceived it to be) which was how most Korean QPR fans came to be QPR fans and how they support QPR.
From the posts I had been reading, it seemed that while there were many posts about what the average local English football fan would consider support, there were few posts that really explained the average Korean member's circumstances. This thread was my effort to explain how Korean QPR fans came to be and why they are so attached to Park.
I made the mistake of responding to some posts (courtesy of vblock and northolt) which led to an extended, mostly fruitless discussion about racism. It's a wonder that you and others noticed the original post at all with all the distracting number of pages.
Despite the noise, I think some festering problems have been brought out into the open. I'd like to think of that as a good thing.
Off to bed now. Good night.

Wonder if Indians and "Pakis" in England would agree?Originally posted by vblockranger View PostThe fans that now "support" QPR that are the same fans that "supported" Man Utd when Park was there are the fans referred to as supporting an individual and not a team. I couldnt give a toss about L.A. Galaxy, why would i? proper football fans support the club for life no matter whether a certain individual leaves and goes somewhere else. I have no problem with Koreans attending games as it brings money into the club, got no problem seeing them at the ground in their shirts with Park on the back (although the few ive seen in Man Utd shirts are looking for trouble). Think Bon is a nice lad and like Northolt said has tried hard to blend in. As for "racism ingrained in English culture" i think you are wrong by a long way.
