I like Tony Fernandes passion and commitment for the club, but I think he needs is a good advisor who have experience in running a football club on a daily basis.

Just out of interest, who are these advisors and do all clubs have them? I believe some clubs have directors of football, but I'm not aware of which ones. My understanding is that this kind of responsibility lays with the team manager and his staff. That's why the manager has meetings with the board.

Manager are only in charge of the first team. I am talking about running the whole club: finances, scouts, deals, academy, etc. Why don't we have academy plays who establish themselves and play for the first team like Arsenal & Man Utd? This case we won't end up with a bunch of mercenaries. A successful football club is not only about buying but also developing young players. Will any of our current youth players have a chance one day to play for the first team? Look where is Raheem Sterling is playing now. We seem to fail in developing young players and part of that maybe because we either do not have good training facilities or bad youth team technical staff.

But haven't we employed the likes of Phil Beard and Mike Rigg to do a lot of this work? Haven't we increased our coaching staff and scouting network? Are we not building a new academy and training facility? Didn't Raheem Sterling move to Liverpool BEFORE Tony Fernandes took over? Finances? Isn't Tony a qualified accountant who has started and grown successful businesses?

Rome wasn't built in a day. Tony has taken the club over, seen what needs to be improved, and set in motion a plan to rebuild the club from top to bottom. He's been in the job a little over a year. Give the guy a chance.

Well who knows but TF Harry will surely pull all the stops out considering the big money on offer this year. I'm sure harry will try to pull off something big. And I'm sure what harry want he will get backing off TF.

Maybe I've smoked too much but I really don't think we deserve six points. If buts and maybes agreed but most I spoken to at games have said we should and could of got more. We have lost most by one goal, by top teams. So not to far away??? Harry got something sparks never had?? Me thinks so!!!!

I agree that QPR have deserved more than the 6 draws this season. Most of the losses and dropped points have been down to a few dries in both areas. Most gols conceded have been down to poor marking or hashed clearances. And at the other end some good chances including 1 on 1s being missed as well as hitting the woodwork such as in the Vila and Reading games.

The squad is not that bad, players like Taarabt Cisse Cesar Diakite Granero & Faurlin would get into a lot of other Premier League sides. The problem has been a lack of quality competition in key positions like centre back and centre forward.

I agree. The infrastructure for a successful club is being built. It will take time, but it will be a pity if QPR get relegated, however, it could end up as a temporary blip (like Newcastle & West Ham) if Fernandes and Co. are true to their word and stick around.
