  • Are Wigan Tickets...

For sale on the day at the JJB for the away end? Pal of mine is only finding out if his shift at work has changed Friday and if it has we're coming up for it? Highly doubt we will be selling this one out will we?

Thanks in advance for any help

Give the club a quick bell mate, just to be on the safe side.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Yep. In that massive barn of an away end I'm sure every fan will have at least 5 seats to themselves if they so wish...

Quality if so, I won't need to wrap myself in cling film under my clothes for the first time since Chesterfield away in 2002!

Cheers for the answers chaps ill give the club A bell to double check.

Matty - Might be worth checking with the Wigan Box Office. I heard they had a policy of no tickets on the day, either home or away fans. Seem to remember a mate saying he went there on the day to watch a game and they wouldn't sell tickets on the day.

Long way to go if it's a No.

Few of us taking the plunge. £75 train is a real stinger though. Not to mention the place is a hole.

"I met a transvestite from Greater Manchester yesterday.

                  He had a Wigan address."

                  I'll get my coat!

We went last minute last year and got 7 tickets on the day, ( Not saying policy hasn't changed though )

For anyone one going it is on a retail park with a 'Harvester ?' pub near the away end that lets away fans in, can anyone remember the name of it ? So we can make arrangements for a meet up !

PS It's also handy to pass the time while the 'crowds ........' die down after the game
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

There is a sports centre by the away end car park which has a nice hidden away bar that is pretty cheap and no queues at all
