Sure, the point about building a stadium may make some chuckle however don't think the investors would be doing something that only had income from Football. A multi purpose stadium with income from mutiple sources is what is being discussed. The income from mutiple sources of revenue is what we need to compete therefore I for one applaud the ambition of the investors.
All I can say is 007 well said ... Wholly concur with all of your comments... You have to question the thought process of some people on here .. Unfortunately some will never be happy, with their glasses forever empty ..

Just out of interest, if you were the owner and we were in the championship, if we won the league would you refuse promotion to the prem?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Do you honestly believe that if Abramovich left Chelsea they would survive ?, get real he's not going to walk away without the hundreds of millions he's put in which makes the premier league payments look like loose change. And then they have to find another sucker to prop them up regardless of global branding or so called infrastructure

I for one do not think, if at all, we will make a quick return to the EPL.
Quite, it could see us go under.

This relegation season, and it would take a miracle for anything else to happen, will be catastrophic.

TF's big gamble has not paid off. It's not going to be fun people.

When all is said, and done, I would have to say that I have not enjoyed our stint in the premiership so far.
Apart from a few games, too few games, it has been a nightmare that has seen us become a laughing stock amongst our rivals.
Perhaps, we just aren't a good fit, who knows?
But, one way, or the other, I wish the nightmare would end, I really do.

Surprised anyone would be happy with us playing in championship again. For me it's about our club playing against the best teams in English football in the biggest league in the world. Some might say it's overrated etc. but it's the only place to be.

                    Exactly this mate.

As much as I can see the angle, enjoyment wise, of the Championship being better (the year we won that was brilliant!), if we went down we would spend the whole time aiming to get back to the PL anyway wouldnt we - so whats the point in wanting to be down there only to want to be back up? Unless people would be happy being a mid-table Championship side?
PL really is the only place to be. Especially with the imcreased Sky money as of next year, we cannto afford to be dropping out.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Going into the championship will not be better for us. All this preparation for the prem crap ect we can do at the end of season.

What a ridiculous post. Fought, sweat, blood and tears to get to the Premiership, achieved the near impossible in getting there and now fans are looking forward to relegation. Can't say I will spend all week long looking forward to Bristol City away, or Peterboro at home.

Come on guys. Take the 'real' championship rose tinted spectacles off, it was S*** in that league. Premier league is the only place to be.

We have been the better team for long periods against Spurs away, Arsenal away, Chelsea at home, Utd away, Villa home, Sunderland away etc etc. The reason we are bottom is that we couldn't defend set pieces and we couldn't finish our chances. I'm not saying we are a great side but our overall performances do not justify our league position. We should be tenth. If you saw the Norwich game last night you would have seen a very poor side who are having an incredibly lucky run. Open goal miss, chance after chance for Sunderland, no way should Norwich have won the game, their first goal was offside. Sunderland like ourselves are having a shocker nothing going right.

thats exactly how i feel about it. i waited 15 years to get back to the big time but its all been an anticlimax for me. it been hell getting mugged off by crap teams week after week and having my weekends constantly ruined. and them hidings we got off the scum n jacksonville were disgraceful i still aint got over it. weve got the ruperts in 2 weeks time and i dont think i can watch another bottle job performance against them.
