We are just not very good, against Villa we had a few clear cut chances and fluffed them. We never flooded forward or caused constant havoc in their penalty area. Adel tried to push the team forward but as already said on other threads many of our lot couldnt be bothered or simply arent capable of carrying the game to the oppposition.

For large parts Villa who had no intention of going forward were comfortable, difference between our game against them this season and last season was that last season at least they brought the bus, Saturday they were too s*** to even have a bus but still managed to get a draw.

Harry has to work with the squad of players assembled by Hughes. There's nothing he can do about that at the moment except do the best with what he has.

We should all be positive and not accept relegation until the maths say otherwise. It's December and we're not down and out just yet. We've still got a fighting chance, so,

      COME ON YOU Rssssss !!!!
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Aston Villa are an average team, around 8 of their starting lineup each week are 23 or younger. The team Lambert put out was eminently beatable and the failure to beat teams around us will only exacerbates our predicament. I wouldn't consider myself a doom merchant, I would consider myself a pragmatist and judging on current form I would be surprised if we were to survive, of course its more than possible we could do a Wigan and suddenly string together some incredible results which dig us out of the mire. At this time its unlikely. As long as Harry continues to pick up points, even from draws at least we draw some sense of improvement. The desire of some players is clearly questionable and unfortunately if we do get relegated Tony will need to hold his hands up and admit chasing the dream proved to be the reverse midas touch, 'style' over substance but he will have learnt some valuable lessons in terms in how not to a football squad. Next season will be different. Long term optimism.
