  • New Manager Same Problem

A number of players who are uncommitted towards the course

I read this forum nowadays and see posters always trying to find positives with certain players. Personally I just take one look at the body language of players when they're on the pitch when they're walking out and walking off and it is quite clear a number of players have no fight in them.

A thread on here started on here about Boswinga Hit the nail on the head about this waste of space.

Traore is not a fully committed player as is the most overrated player in a QPR shirt in recent times Graneo.

The performances of Park and Hoilett when they come on were also lacking effort and nothing short of an embarrassment.

When you have five players out of 14 who played yesterday uncommitted to Our situation the manager has a thankless task. Cisse Never started probably due to this reason and rightly so. I'm not looking for scapegoats I'm just highlighting the reason why we are rooted to the bottom of the table. You can highlight SWPs misees which you he should of buried but I can't fault his efforts in comparison to other players and that is what we need at present.

Taarabt is carrying the team at present. I can't fault the two centre halves and Jamie Mackie is always dependable to put in a good shift. Diakite is up for the fight and one look at Mbias body Language when we conceded the first yesterday demonstrated we have a player willing to dig deep for the club.

Final assessment I think we are relegated and by the time Redknapp gets us going I think it will probably be too late.

I think the current pressure being the only team without a win is not helping.

But, the ridiculous posts saying every player was basically terrible is nonsence. we would have lost 5-0 if the way people are talking about everyone's performance was true.

Bosingwa put lots in yesterday - if you can't see that then I think you just want to take a pop. The only players I really have a problem with are those that are hiding and most of them are not doing that. There are too many mistakes in the team at the moment and again, I think that is because the pressure means people are not playing their natural game.

Paks performance looked poor because he slipped, more than once, at important moments, but he was not awful Hoilett didn't get into the game.

When anyone has a bad game people say they are not trying, not committed, can't be bothered - I just don't buy that. Sometimes they just don't have a great game - doesn't mean they don't want to win.

We dominated large spells of that game yesterday and a bit of luck would have seen a couple more goals.

To many on here who just want to have a pop at certain players. These are individuals who have come through one of the most competitive professions in the world and you dont get to their level without a real desire and professional pride. If you speak to any top athlete they will tell you confidence is a major factor in all sports and we are struggling for that until the win comes.

Yesterday we were unlucky, yes we have some problems up front but look a better side under Rednapp and that win will come and we will push on. Whether we can escape relegation is another matter and will depend on others having a bad run similar to the one we are currently on but it's not impossible. To have any hope ALL our fans need to get behind EVERY PLAYER not moan and groan as soon as someone makes a mistake. What is also clear at both games and on this board and im am sorry to say it but some fans simply haven't got a clue.

I think that the reason is to be found in other places than players not trying or don't care.

When Hughes was in charge there was a lack of urgency from players. Not get forward , closing down ect under Harry . Bosingwa done his job yesterday no goals from his side and overlapped with crosses, that went into the box and passed around the box . What else do you want from him ? To score goals Lol. Granero ha a bad game so he got subbed.
Our issue is not having a real striker to score goals , we have created many chances the last two game but have lacked the player who can finish with ease. our defending has improved dramatically we have let in one goal in two games.

Problem is we donīt have enough players in the box. I didnīt mean to pick out Bosingwa.

If just one of those great chances we had had gone in we wouldn't even be having discussions like this.

Very fine line. That's the way I see it.

don't think you can underestimate our dreadfull luck. i know people say you make your own luck but yesterday we were well on top and going for it and then mbia goes off .we then lost impertus and struggled through to half time.Bit of a reshuffle at half time and then after a few minutes we start to get on top again then Samba goes off and with him any hope of a win. as i say all teams have bad luck at times but we seem to have more than our fair share. lets hope it changes at wigan.

I know , but most posters just love digging out bosingwa even when he has a good game people seem to make points of the previous game where he played bad in.

I have just seen the first half of the match, recorded. And What a team effort I witnessed actually.!! We are still a bit hasty in certain situations, but things are actually happening in front of goal now. Itīs also amazing how important to the team Mbia, Diakite and Mackie are at the moment, grafters all of them. But again I would like to highlight the team effortwhich has really improved.
