I am not to down about the impending appointment.... its all about opinions at the end of the day and everyone is entitled to 1 - and they make this messageboard what it is.

I will support QPR my team whom ever they employ.... onwards and upwards (hopefully) !!

      I disagree.
The players and manager have to take some responsibilty with the **** poor performance that starved me of any form of entertainment on a saturday afternoon.
Lack of passion and commitment can be looked at.
I don't mind paying 25 instead of 20 if I see some effort displayed on this pitch and your be lying if you just focused on price.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

            Have our board gone mad?????

Do they not realise what kind of a message this will send out to the fan base?

If he is not good enough for Ipswich why is he good enough for us?

He did not even get into the play offs and has been branded clueless by the majority of the supporters of Town.

This will not be a poular appointment.

Shame really they are supposed to be an ambitious bunch our board but when it comes to coffing up compensation for a decent manager no chance, but blow 10 million on boxes sure no problem.

            Cant understand it.

Not sure if I will bother with a season ticket, probably will but I bet many wont...and I'd imagine a few people will be asking for refunds...you cant get away with charging top dollar and then fobbing the fans off with this shite.

Cant help but feel that the board of the club have let us down badly...I hope Magilton proves me wrong but in all honesty I really dont think the club have gone all out to get in the best possible man to take us forward.

            No ambition a total shambles.

ipswich played good football but just missed out this season but they still did better than us

it all comes down to the hype again. we have rich owners but the club is not rich. champions league in four years. zidane, del peiro, figo. people believe the hype thats why they are dissappointed with this appointment.

there are many teams in this league that are in a better position for promotion than us.

can i ask why people would be pleased with de canio but not magilton?

Anybody else feel like they arent getting value for money??

How hard is it for the twits in charge to realise high profile managers and players get the most important things into the club. The fans. Bring on less than 10,000 attendances next season.

We are a disgrace, the QPR ive known and loved has vanished

Get over yourself you are boring, if your going ask for a refund do it quietly. Its embarassing listening to fans like you with unrealistic expectations.

I'll put my faith in Jim to do a job with his entertaining brand of football and keep an eye out for fans like you who come crawling back onto the messageboards with your tails between your legs when the going is good.

Spot on! the sooner this whole manager thing is done the better then we can all move on and moan about something else, like why we didn't bid for gareth barry or why kaka isn't interested in joining

my theory - magilton was probably the best manager that would accept the job at the time. flav isnt an ***** in the business world and probably accepts hes made some wrong decision. i think hes appointed magilton (if true) and will leave him in charge for at least the rest of the season to try and gain some stability.
2 things i remember the owners saying when the took over:1. 4 year plan, lets keep some perspective at least now we have the possbility of being able to look up the table and get frustrated
                            2. they choose QPR because of our 'loyal' fan base. as unhappy as most people are with the club he knows people will stay supporters over the long term and those that leave now will return in times of success.

speculation but it does seem that the board are making a managerial choice based on if they have to pay compensation or not.

I could understand this if they really where intent on running the club to a strict budget, but the corporate facilities, expensive light fittings and crazy long contracts at good wages for limited players all point to a less frugal policy so what are they playing at.

of course nothing has been announced yet, who knows we may still get sven turning up tomorrow with Henry by his side as his first signing
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
