  • SWP Hides

I watched him very closely 2nd half and was in a great position to. He hides. Makes himself unavaialbe or in a very unattractive position to take a pass. No doubting in my mind - he is just hiding. May as well not come out of the dressing room.

Quite a few of our players had been doing that this year.

don't agree - a lot of our players are not playing well, making mistakes etc, like Bosingwa, but I don't think any of them are hiding apart from SWP.

a lot of senior pros happy to to pass and then ,not show out for return ball ,or move into space , its called going through the motions

Bosingwa probably saw more of the ball than anyone second half, which kind of suggests you're talking rubbish.

I don't think he hid, but I can see what u are saying. Prob is he ain't a striker, and didn't know the runs that he should of made.. Should of peeled off and turned then box it. Any natural striker knows those runs.

Much better from swp but kills me to see players in the prem who are no better than me

The lad was definitely hiding. He I'd not want the ball in he second half. How can u explain his 2nd half hibernation.

Park never wanted the ball either. Hill and Nelsen aside only Adel and Traore consistently made themselves available for a pass (and Traore was done by 70 mins.....)

I thought it was pretty obvious today that SWP was told to play on the shoulder of the LB and use his pace to beat him. That's why he got his chances into the first half. In the second half villa defended better but he still won 5/6 corners. IMO he didn't corn short for the ball because he wasn't supposed to. It would appear that some people just don't like him though so even though today was probs his 2nd beat game for the club he's still getting slated

SWP has lost all confidence. Has barely scored a goal for us, except in Pre-season.

Had 3 great chances yesterday, the shot that struck the post was a decent effort, but missed a one on one and
also had a great chance to shoot when Mackie robbed Guzan, decided to pass to Adel. Shows a distinct lack of confidence for me.

Agree, to accuse him of hiding is harsh. He made some fantastic runs first half which would have got him in but he never got the pass as we decided to go sideways instead of forward (Adel, Granero, Bosingwa all guilty of not putting him in). The two times they did slip him the ball he got threw one on one. Second half he was quiet in my view because Villa sussed he was the danger man and done a job on him nothing to do with hiding.

Yes he has been pony in his time at QPR but yesterday was a decent enough showing from him and he could have walked off the pitch with a hat trick
