8 points, might as well nail the coffin shut if we only have that total.

Will be difficult with our goal scoring ability, but Wigan and Fulham are winnable, WBA seems to loose their form. We can take something from Liverpool and Newcastle, too.

I think Derby got 12 points with one win all season

By this stage they had 6 points with A WIN to their name!!!

If anyone thinks that Mackie, Derry, Hill and Nelson can keep the rest of these gutless, charlatan, clueless, unfit, mercenary schlags up the they are deluded
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

How much does relegation cost though?

If all these players have relegation clauses that is one thing. But if not I dunno how many offers are going to flood in for a lot of them and paying all those wages in the Championship will hurt.

I think Redknapp said 10 wins required to stay up which is about right so he could have targeted 3 wins before January maybe.
That would leave about 7 wins required from the 19 games remaining in the second half of the season something like that.

Unfortunately before January Redknapp can only work with Hughes squad to get those first 3 wins. But if he got there and could add a striker and CD in the window I think relegation is avoided. It dont really matter where those wins come so long as it is before January and it could be even two wins and draw the rest which would provide 9 more points. So it is still game on.

Agree. Hughes as a lot to answer for.

Says it all. It's all down to him. If he got one win and another draw we'd be seeing daylight now. Shame Harry won't trash talk him, however, the way Hughes trash talked Warnock. It's all down to that b@stard. He'll never work again. And we're still paying his wages.

I'm trying to believe this too. The thought of accepting relegation in December, although completely realistic at the moment, depresses me. I'm holding onto my hope anyway. You R'ssssss.
"Imagine a relationship that went wrong but you held on in there for years: that's what it is like supporting a football team. Your loyalty to a team can never die. Ties are stronger than they could ever be with a woman. If she goes and sleeps with your best mate, it's over. If the Rs' boss, Ian Holloway, slept with my best mate, QPR would still be my team. Even if many of the things that you loved about going to matches have gone - terraces, team shirts without sponsors and being able to smoke at grounds - you still stick with your team." - Peter Doherty.

We are not going down- the rot has stopped. Shaun came so close today; nearly there but Granero looks like he doesn't want to be on the pitch, so right to pull him. Cisse is bloody lazy and Boswinga has just lost some of his edge but still thinks that he still has it; he hasn't.

Thought the team generally worked hard today, so much improved since the dark days of Hughes.

Harry is not going to work a miracle in a week. At least we have what is looking like a cohesive team now. The problem is that Hughes should have been moved on sooner.

Who were the *****s that booed the team at the end of the game. They did not deserve that - totally out or order. We are on the up.

sounded like quite a few fans booing at the end...might be because we have gone 15 games without a win this season? or that we havent won a game in over 6 months? and today the players failed yet again to beat a team in the bottom 5 at home? its alright all thi improving etc but its wins we need as that what you get the points for.
