quite like the idea of mackie and Faurlin as full backs
Traore, Hill and Csse and up to it, long term IMO
Harry knows Nelsen needs a better partner in the middle and we need someone who will score goals consistently up frony. Cisse is not that person.
Whilst I'm not resigned to relegation (yet) we can't afford to slip further behind before January and if anything need to bridge the gap.
I know it's only 2 unbeaten games, against mediocre sides, but t is a small bit of progress.Originally posted by rockandroll View Postwhy not play faurlin left back or right back with traore/mackie in the other side?

mackie is a good right legged right back he already played there and has more energy than bosingwa
faurlin is a good left legged with stamina and hard to get past him than traore , and will make better passes to the midfielders.
traore is left legged should play on right side ( just like adel Right legged and play on the left side) he would cut more a la messi.
I wish harry give it a tryLast edited by rockandroll; 03-12-2012, 03:27 PM.

Anybody know why Faulin buggered off in his motor ( white 4 door porsche ) from LR at 2 pm on saturday afternoon ?????
As I was walking along SAR (from Bloemfontein end ) and his car was parked just inside the first gate on the right .
Security guard opened the gate and off he went !!

Turning back to the first page of this thread - Diakite was awful on Saturday..........................for the first 15 minutes.
After that, he switched on and was one of the best performers and boy did we miss his drive and energy one he went off. Not only that but from where I was sat, the tackle that did for him was a shocker - over the top of the ball and studs into his ankle. I've seen red cards given for less but I don't think we even got a free kick? I haven't seen any replays but can anyone else recall the challenge and put me in my place because I think it was a shocker.#standuptocancer

Neither I think were even free kicks - shocking tackles. Little things like that we dont seem to get the rub of the green on. Bet your bottom dollar that if Diakite had so much as stuck his tongue out at Agbonlahor he woulda been shown a Red.#standuptocancer

The Faurlin we all know is quick to spot passes and gives it his all when attacking or defending. What I've been seeing of him recently is slow and sluggish movement and not enough passes. He looks knackered about 50 minutes into the game which shows he's not fully fit yet. Before his injury at MK dons he was doing well in the Premier League, with the most passes and tackling in the league until he got injured (and he still had this record a month into his injury!).
He hasn't been at his best yet, but I think we soon will see him back in the squad. I think 'Arry was interested in signing him when he was in charge at Spurs so i don't think it's because Redknapp doesn't rate him.
Spot on, I think. He is a marvellous player, but needs a rest. I think. Would be intersting to see him develop his free kicks and shooting in a not far distant future hopefully.QPR
