  • Tony Fernandes

..gone very quiet since Harry signed. No pics/video's of him and Harry. Still upset about 'Friend' getting the sack me thinks!

  • #2
Yeah I think so, as Harry said our owners aren't ruthless & that's not always a bad thing. Tony didn't want Mark gone but come end of the season he will be happy
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

Tony is a loyal guy, but sometimes you just have to do things. I was behind Mark Hughes, but even I knew it was time he had to go, otherwise we'd be going down. There is only so much time you can give someone, this was not the year to wait and see, we have to stay up and think we had no other choice. I hope Tony will be happy at the end of the season.

Mark Hughes was a disaster and should have been sacked weeks ago.

PS. TF is still a top,top chairman who Obviuosly cares for the club and the manager.

Oh & for the record, I hope Mark Hughes get league 1 or 2 managers job. Really hard football jobs & prove how bad a manager he really is once & for all

harrys saying nothing but nice things about tony, im sure there is a good relationship. i think it is sensitive for tony to start tweeting
immediately out of some respect for MH and his team. i think the players psychology had to be shaken up by a new manager but i dont blame MH.
a massive restructuring of QPR was necesary and it was always risky. MH and co deserve some respect for what they did and i think tony is showing that respect by keeping a bit quite.
IF we can survive i hope we can look back and see that MH did a good job for us in many respects. whilst its worrying (and quite exciting) to be in our position, respect is still due to
MH IMO. i see all those players and pundits involved in the pro game appear to be very respectful of his tenure at qpr too.

Well said,QPR71. What I say on here is far from gospel. I would rather claim the opposite.

Tony is doing the right thing and staying out of the lime light.

At the end of the day, he listened to his fellow share holders, what a difference from Briatore hey?

Lets leave it at that and show some respect for a great chairman.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Harry's only been in charge 5 days, has Tony even been back in London yet? Could be why.

                          I'd feel sorry for them

My first game I remember(Apprently I went to a 0-0 against Ipswich as my first game, the only 0-0 in all of the 4 leagues, but I don't remember that game as I was a dinky little man) but the first game I remember seeing QPR was against Luton, 3-2 win

Agreed. Best chairman in the business.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

                              ^ Yes, agreed 100%.

I think Tony will eventually come to realize that any change was for the best.
