Precisely- Harry's signed him 4 times! he's half way through his contract, Stoke have Kenwyne Jones getting back to fitness, plus Crouch never stays anywhere for too long. I never said they'd release him. We'd have to sign him or pay a bit to get him on loan.

Rafa Benitez is the manager of Chelsea- Crouch joining QPR really isn't that unrealistic in the world of football.

Alternatively, if we do pick up points and look as if we are on a path to pull clear, we may be able to invest to try and make that a certainty.

I would have to say this is obviously the sensible approach. Brings into even clearer focus how critical the next few games are.
It is a reasonably sensible approach. No point in signing expensive signings on perm deals if relegation is likely, but a few decent loans or short term signings similar to when Bolton signed players like Campo and Okacha etc might make a huge difference. Certainly last season signing loan deals for Diakite, and to some lesser extent Taiwo, helped QPR to stay up and Redknapp might need to do the same.

I would agree agree, if we are in the position we hope we aren't - some decent loans could be the best option.

Bringing in someone like Bent or even Dawson in January would really not be advisable or right if we are struggling are certain for relegation

Sadly buying more fixes nothing, if we are doomed to go down then nothing will change it.

Harrys next fixtures till Jan are important.

          1. To see how good this team really is - The quality suggests we should and can survive
          2. These are winnable fixtures

Absolutely true. if the players are as good as most of us believed them to be in August, then they should not make it too hard to pick up 10-12 points from the next 6 or 7 games against Villa, Wigan, Fulham, Newcastle, WBA & Liverpool.

Yes, there are some decent teams in this run, but not all of them are on form and 4 of them are at home.

If QPR can go into the new year on around 17 then they have a chance of pulling clear. The only real reason QPR didn't pull clear last season was because Hughes couldn't pick up any away points at the likes of Blackburn, Bolton, Sunderland or WBA.

Makes the match tomorrow even more important. I actually dread to think about it. QPR and Important fixtures doesnt go well together.

It's true, we can change chairman, manager and players, but the end results don't change. Is Arry the special one to have the power to change it?

If you look at the back bone of our winning season with the exception of Adel ( Kenny , Hill , Derry, Mackie , Helgusson ) I would be surprised if any of them were more than £ 20 k /week .

Where we were sp unking money was on the likes of Hall , Ageymang , Vine Etc who were wasters
Sorry, but we were paying silly money. Silly money is when your wage bill is far higher than the total revenue of the club. Ours were, I don't think anyone else's were that year. It was a risk and it paid off. Individual salaries are irrelevant - it is the overall wage bill that is important if you are talking about business models, risk and reward.

So, we played a risky game before - now the stakes are higher than ever, we are going to fold if we don't have more points? It will divide opinion, but given that TV revenue into PL is 70% more next year I think we have to twist. Easy to say when it's not your money, but the alternative is raising the white flag by the sounds of it.

Ok, in the 1st half, QPR hit the bar, had a goal not seen near the end of the game should have been awarded a stoppage time pen, (not once but twice), but apart from that QPR failed to do enough in the 2nd half to win the game, even Cisse's equaliser was offside.

Agreed Essex, how we do from now until Jan will have a big impact on who we sign because not only will we have to prepare for the worst to save on wages. But more importanlty it effects the calibre of the players you can attrack, as i cant see Dawson , Bent or any premiership quality player signing for you as they wont want to risk relagation.

"A week OR SO" to be exact, which in reality could be 2-3 weeks.

yeah actually had a look of a confident goalkeeper, especially after the save. That was the problem before, he looked so nervous and that energy was passed on to the fans.

We did get mugged off in that game.

However, our away form caused us some serious issues!! - We got **** all points away. Even a point away is good. Harrys already done that and got us a clean sheet
