  • Everton 1994/95 (Played 13 Points 7)

Holding the previous record following 12 games without a win were Everton, who under Mike Walker were five points adrift of safety at the bottom of the table.

The former Norwich boss was dispensed two games later (despite picking up four points) after less than a year in charge with Joe Royle appointed his successor.

    What happened next?
The Toffees comfortably picked up form to finish a relatively safe 15th but the big prize was winning the FA Cup after a shock victory against Manchester United at Wembley – the club’s last piece of silverware.

I still feel we can do this.. We have a run of games which is perfect for any manager to take over during. These ARE games we can win and draw.

Lots of teams will drop points and lots of teams are going to hit bad form themselves. Sunderland and Newcastle are huge examples.

Harry NEEDS a win this Saturday and I feel it will really push us on. Saturday really is a vital game - It will and can change our season.

Get to January and sign a new CB and ST and we will be set .... to stay up!!

Certainly not all gloom and doom. Much like last season, 2 wins on the trot can make all the difference. Just look at Southampton this year, Wigan and (briefly) Blackburn last season.

Me too.... Villa game vital though not only for 3 points to benefit us and hinder them, but more so for the weight off the shoulder ref "no win" and for a massive boost going into Wigan and then Fulham... if we beat Villa, we could win all 3.

Exactly back to back wins in this league is huge... just under Hughes with his diabolical away form it never happened wo we never gave ourselves the chance to string results together. Blimey in one game after 24 hrs with the team Harry has got a 3rd of the away points Hughes got in 10 months. Crazy.
