I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it! -
We haven't been lucky or wise in exchanging players SWP for Routledge has been one of our failures.
Ferdinand for Gorkss, Zamora for Helgusson.

Hindsight again! At the time, not ONE person here wanted Routs over SWP. At the time, SWP was still considered pretty good by many, whereas Routs had scored 1 Prem goal in about 100 appreances...Comment

remember though that when we got promoted, Routledge had never scored a goal in the top flight. He was always seen as one who was too good for the championship and not able to cut it in the EPL. We went for SWP instead who at least had a pedigree. I thought Wayne deserved to get a permanent move but thats life, looks a poor call nowComment

For those interested you yourself cracking one out because he scored a couple of goals last night. It's very rare footballers CV's lie. Top teams don't hold onto average players and he is no more than that.
