Cisse is woeful as a lone striker, he has no idea how to hold the ball up and 9 times out of 10 he just panics and shoots from range.

Personally I would play Mackie up top until the transfer window. He chases everything down, puts defenders under pressure and he is strong on the ball and could hold it up for the likes of Taarabt and Hoilett (if we ever see him start a game). I also think he looks more likely to get in on the goals than Cisse at the moment.

Need to play mackie up top. showed at old trafford he is capable to get a chance to score.

Cisse is a player we need when playing 2 up top. he cant play on his own.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
        Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Agree. He's not a holdup player, it's horses for courses. That's a job for a crouchy type, and like-wise you wouldn't use crouch as a finisher on thru balls.

Cisse was poor last night seems like he had a shoot on site policy and near the end was so wasteful sadly he will be the name on the team sheet every week until January . Because there is no one else?

Cisse is going through a messy divorce and hasn't been the same player that he was last season due to this. Strikers when confident an be on fire but he is so far the opposite it's unreal. Not making excuses but what he got going on in his personal life will effect him on the pitch. I think you'll find him banging a few in, in the next couple of weeks if he can find a bit of confidence.

Cisse will get a chance to score on Saturday, no doubt. Whether he hits the target or not, lets all start a massive "Ole Ole Ole Cisse Cisse" chant and see how it affects him. When he scored against Reading he looked so much more confident when the crowd got behind him.
