  • If we lose tonight...

... will you be REALLY disappointed? I will, I know a new manager takes time, and I know Rome wasn't built in a day, but I don't think I can take another defeat, especially to an under-firing Sunderland.

you answered your own question mate...

Yep well all will be, as well all want to win. But we have a better manager someone who will install a lot of changes. Most noticeable by Saturday

I'll be disappointed because we've got some good players, a new manager has come in, and Sunderland are in a bad run of form. HR has delivered the message that if the team don't graft he'll change it. I think he'll instil a sense of pride and professionalism into the team. That's why I think we will will tonight, so yes, I'd be disappointed if we lost.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I'd take a point today. If we play a strong side with the likes of Hoilett, Park etc... and lose, then 'Arry will make some serious changes for the Villa game and bring in people that actually want to play. If he sticks with the team we played at United, then I think we could easily get a draw at least.

A loss will be a blow, but I am still hopeful that QPR can still win 11 games this season.
Possible and realistic home wins against: Villa, Wigan, Norwich, Fulham, Stoke, Sunderland, Newcastle.
Away wins: Reading, Southampton, Wigan, Villa.
Other wins could include surprise wins against the likes of Swansea, West Ham, West Brom & Spurs.
I have faith that Redknapp will get the best out of the current squad, which many of us were hopeful in August that they were capable of a decent mid table season. We had doubts about cb and cf positions but other than that we thought the squad was decent. They haven't become poor players suddenly. They just needed someone who can Coach organise and motivate better than Hughes and co. did.

We'll do extremely well to get a point tonight IMO so will be happy with that.

my fear is that because fans are happy hughes has gone and redknapp is in their expectation levels are shooting up again and then we get back into the cycle of high hopes followed by rage and wrist slitting (in certain corners) when we are brought back down to reality. Given all that has happened my expectations are modest. What I do expect is more passion, more work and - hopefully - a bit more basic professionalism defending set pieces. As for the result, given our away form I will regard any kind of point/s gained as a v pleasant surprise.

I had already accepted we were going to get relegated this season, but the arrival of Harry has tossed us a lifeline, which has been reflected in the odds for us to go down. For me its simple. Win tonight, I think we will stay up, but loose, I think we are doomed in the long run.

We need to get the monkey of our backs and win tonight as Sunderland are in a mess and we need to build up a head of steam and confidence for Villa then Wigan and if we loose any of these games, it was pointless sacking Hughes and the millions it cost us. Apparently we need an average of 1.44 games to survive and with every defeat it creeps towards 2.00 pints per game needed, which is not possible.

If the players turn up and graft tonight then it should be a close game. A lot closer than Southampton at home anyway.
If they don't then it is back to the drawing board for the home game against Villa. Might take until after the January window before we see the team start to flow.
My bet is a draw tonight but it could go either way.

I will because let's face it, we're running out of time. I'm sure Harry is well aware of that too so he'll be demanding three points regardless of the fact he's only been in the job for three days.

Chin up mate, just remember, when you hit rock bottom, things can only go up. I used to suffer from terrible depression as a teenager, would sometimes think I would never make it into adulthood, but life ended up being ok for me. Never lose hope, even if we get hammered tonight!
