  • The Redknapp effect

Just think back to how our Arry turned Bale and Modric into elite players. Both were underperforming, lacked confidence and you wouldnt of paid 5m for either. Then Arry boy showed up gave them a bit of TLC and they became top top players.

We have ourselves a superb manager and the good times are on their way back.

Wasn't Bale jinxed initially and they never won a match in any of his first 19 games or something...?

Redknapp is a motivator and can inspire players to perform better. Hopefully we will see an almost immediate impact from his team.

And we were looking to take him on loan.

Although I tend to agree with Big Dave mostly, I am however very concerned about the huge rise in expectations.
Yes Hughes was clueless but the players still need to take a portion of the blame.

Harry will try to motivate them and get them enjoying the football again but he still has a huge issue, where he has no strikers. He can't turn water into wine and I can see us losing tonight, against a very poor Sunderland side. They have Fletcher and he will have a goal or 2 in him tonight against what is a very basic defence. The only plus is they don't have a big donkey that would frighten us on every set piece but I just can't see the harry effect making that much of a difference.

Personally think it's all a little too late and what I would like to see is players like cisse, swp, ferdinand, onuhua etc released in jan and we start planning for life in the championship. If we lose tonight then there really is no need to sign anyone apart, unless there is quality available
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Please, leave tonight till tonight. Personally, I´m just starting to recover from saturday´s loss.:=):
On a more serious note, we are no way relegated just yet even with zero points against Sunderland.
              QPR
              Best team in the world

Let's just hope that Harry does share your pessimism. Give up now when we are a few points from safety?

I agree with your observation on Bale and Modric. Not sure what you mean by top top players. Is that the same meaning as being top top of the league or appearing on top top of the pops
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
