We didn't get one with Hughes did we? I remember his first game in charge, MK Dons cup replay - we were bloody awful and lucky to win.

Here's hoping we get it this time, for twice as long, to make up for missing out last season

Harry wants players to work hard and chase the ball and close opponents down. I am sure we will start to see some red cards again.....

I do hope we get a better "new manager effect" than with MH.....I do not think we got much of an effect at all with MH.
If NW had been allowed to spend the 14M MH did in January I am sure we would have made it as well last season and with more "bread and butter" players that would have gotten us more points this season. It is all speculation of course but at least HR is in now and with time enough to potentially get us out of this friggin mess we are in.

I don't think any team has got a "new manager effect" when MH has joined. It apparently takes time for him to get his teams to gel. Unfortunately he forgot to add that that would take more than 11 months (if ever).
