at man city we've played well for about half our with their big pitch.
same at man utd, arsenal and spurs which also have similar size pitches.
granero and park are both used to bigger pitches at real and man utd respectively yet they get the bulk of the criticism and we havent played much good football at home this season.

just thought it would be a factor.

I thought that from this season all pitches had to be the same size to keep in line with the rest of europe. I think our pitch feels smaller because of the stands

I think the length of our pitch compares to most in the league I think its the girth we struggle with

That said facto I am more then satisifed with the pitch at Loftus Rd and I would not be tempted to swap it for more width.

Having the touchlines touching the sides of the stands gives us a uniqueness in the Premier league; its a tight fit if you catch my drift

Only applies to teams with big enough pitches, so that they can shorten/increase it to the PL guidelines. Our pitch is smaller than the guidelines, if we did it then the pitch would extend into the stands lol. I think it's us, Liverpool, West Ham, Foolham, Stoke, Spurs and the sc*m that the rule doesn't apply to, we just have to make it as big as possible.

They want all teams to have a pitch the size of 105 x 68 metres; the likes of United, City, Arsenal, Villa, Sunderland, Swansea, Southamton etc can all do this. Ours can only go as big as 102 x 65 metres.

Surprised by West Ham and Stoke as they seem to have massive gaps between the pitch and stands

West Ham have concrete around the pitch so they don't have to make theirs bigger (even if they did it would still be small), Stoke however have large gaps between the stands so they should be able to do it, but Pulis likes it narrow and somehow gets his way with it.
