  • The ultimate reason why MH has failed

"The manager knew my name and had seen me in the Champions League, but did not really know whether I was good or not," Mbia said.

Mbia, who can also play in defense, also elaborated on the differences in preparation at QPR compared to his experiences in France.

"There is only playing and very little tactics," he said. "We don’t really train in the week, we have rest days, but we haven't the right to mess up on match days."

Everything comes out of a certain root.

MH, you were a failure as a manager!

Now plz sit back and watch what Arry does to clean your messes.

The ultimate reason why MH has failed ?

In my opinion for what its worth, he ultimately failed because we have no goals in the squad.
Failing to bring in any decent strikers has cost him dearly.

Some of the football (recent games excluded) has been as good as I have seen for many years but there has been no end product.
    Simple as that really.

Again what its worth I reckon a number of reasons have led to him failing.

I agree lack of goals but would also add
      Poor transfer policy leading to
      Not sorting out the defence
      No holding MF player
and as you say strikers of quality

I still maintain its a poor squad and I don't agree with the view it's all MH fault and we have a good squad.
For whatever his fault MH is or now was a proven premiership manager so even though his tactics (loose meaning of the sense) were bizarre at times it shouldn't of led to such a collapse in form.
Out of the whole team MH was the one premiership beacon the club had.
I have always been a critic of MH but I think it's too easy to simply blame him and let the players off.
Many posters said NW wasn't premiership and wanted MH and thought the sun shined out of his ..... I didn't and posters then said our championship squad was so poor MH would introduce premiership quality players, some didn't care our championship winning players were now surplus to requirements, we were now off to become a top 10 team with a 40k stadium.
It's all too easy to blame individuals, whatever team turned out against the saints should have competed. A number of our players just look technically naive and poor. We are not like a west ham or Newcastle who were too good to go down, on the majority of games under MH we deserved to lose, we show glimmer of quality but championship and
League 1 sides do that in cup games against premiership sides, it still doesnt change that they are s***.
To me the squad that MH has assembled is poor, clearly MH and his agent must carry the burden but Harry needs to do rebuilding work and at least 4 proper signings will give us a fighting chance.

The ultimate reason? He had no control. Players didn't respect him, didn't want to train and he didn't want to confront some of them about their attitude. He bottled it and made poor excuses for his failures.

Defending has been a big Achilles as when we do play well enough to get a point we conceive a couple of goals.
