  • Sunderland to be without a manager when we play them?

Martin O'Neill has offered his resignation to the Sunderland board, according to reports.
I hope this is true. Caretaker managers dont tend to win many games, and we've got to play Sunderland next.

I'm clutching at straws, I know.

Why couldn't Mark Hughes have done the same?

Because Martin O'Neill will get other job offers, Hughes will not.

They've rubbished the rumour...but then again so did QPR on monday. So you never know.
